The figures were announced by Charles Mizzi, CEO of Residency Malta, which is the agency that issues the Digital Nomad Visa.
Minister for Home Affairs, Security, Reforms and Equality, Byron Camilleri, added that the agency's programmes contributed a staggering €50,000,000 to the economy last year.
